The outdoors is my passion. Hiking it. Backpacking it. Photographing it. Over the years, friends would ask me for tips on where to hike, so I started this website as a way to help others discover nature.
Through the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, I’m a volunteer maintainer of a section of the Appalachian Trail. I’m also a Trustee with Team Wilderness, a non-profit with a mission of growing teamwork, leadership, and character within our urban youth through wilderness excursions.
I’ve backpacked the John Muir Trail, Teton Crest Trail, sections of the Appalachian Trail, and the backcountry of the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite. Memorable hikes include Half Dome, Clouds Rest, Angels Landing, Kearsarge Pass, Mount LeConte, Mount Whitney, and Mount Kilimanjaro.
